Te building of Phase 3 flood control measures in Warri/Effurun and environs, including Warri South and Uvwie Local Government Areas of the state, has received approval from the Delta State government for a total of N15.7 billion.

After Governor Sheriff Oborevwori chaired the State Executive Council meeting on Thursday in Asaba, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, the State Commissioner for Information, told reporters that Airport Road, Ugborikoko, Bendel Estate, and Ugboroke, as well as the areas around them in the Uvwie and Warri South Local Government Areas, would be included in Phase 3 of the control measures.
